Cazumbá
Founded by Larissa Figueiredo, Cazumbá is an independent structure for the development, production and circulation of films, series, art projects and educational initiatives.
Cazumbá is a character from the Bumba-meu-boi of Maranhão: a creature of many shapes and colours that moves between the real and the imaginary. The brand is born from this figure to host works that cross languages, territories and ways of imagining.
Cazumbá does not work as a production service company, nor does it keep a permanent team: each project brings together the partnerships it needs.
